President
Shaha Ahmed Sinan has accumulated nine years of experience in the realms of Fitness and Martial Arts, where she has garnered commendation for her expertise. Her diverse background encompasses Wing Chun, Wushu, Shotokan Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and Sambo disciplines. With unwavering dedication, Shaha has made significant strides both domestically and internationally, underscoring her passion for martial arts and its transformative impact on individuals’ lives. She is a staunch advocate for gender equality in sports, particularly in empowering women through martial arts. Her paramount objective is to raise awareness about the sport’s myriad benefits within the community. Central to Shaha’s mission is her focus on nurturing the next generation, emphasizing the importance of martial arts in shaping a brighter future for children and youth. Through her endeavors, she aims to foster a sense of community and promote holistic well-being among individuals of all ages.
Fathimath Shifna
Vice President
Fathimath Shifna is a dedicated sportswoman with a lifelong passion for athletics. Her focus is on promoting excellence and inclusivity within the martial arts community, particularly through Jiu-Jitsu. Shifna’s mission is to empower and educate women on the transformative benefits of Jiu-Jitsu, aiming to enhance both physical fitness and mental well-being. She advocates for gender equality in martial arts, serving as a role model and leader to encourage female participation and leadership. Through her efforts, Shifna inspires resilience and growth among women in the martial arts community.
Mohamed Asif
Chairman
Mohamed Asif has dedicated 18 years of service to the Maldives Correctional Service and has steadily progressed to the role of Assistant Commissioner of Prisons. Throughout his career, he has been entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities across various correctional facilities in the Maldives, contributing to the overarching goals of the organization. In addition to his professional commitments, he is involved in organizing and leading jujitsu in the Maldives, using his extensive experience in the sport to guide and mentor participants. His primary objective is not only to introduce and popularize jujitsu within the Maldives community, but also to raise awareness about the multifaceted physical, mental, and social benefits that jujitsu can bring to individuals.
Aminath-Ibrahim-Jaleel

Aminath is a passionate advocate for sports, health, and wellness with a strong background in finance, currently applying her expertise at Prime Care Investment. She is deeply committed to promoting martial arts in her community, teaching self-defense skills to women and children, and encouraging both physical fitness and mental discipline. Her dedication to a healthier lifestyle and her contributions to martial arts make her a standout figure in her community.
Maryam Niha
Maryam Niha is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in Finance and Accounting. With her current role as Finance and Accounts Executive at the Prison Cooperative Society, she brings a wealth of financial expertise to our association. Having earned her Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the Maldives National University, she is now actively pursuing her MSc in Accounting and Finance at Villa College, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Beyond her financial responsibilities, she is driven to spread awareness about Jiu-Jitsu and empower women within the sport. Her objectives include ensuring financial stability, expanding female participation and leadership within the association. With her unwavering dedication and vision, she is poised to make a significant and lasting impact on our association and the broader Jiu-Jitsu community.

Head of Sports and Technical Commission
Mohamed Shan Hassan has been an active in a variety of martial arts for the past 11 years. Starting and developing from Karate and Wushu, he has performed and earned many achievements. Picking up Jujitsu at 2019, he has been an exceptional figure, earning his yellow belt in German Jujitsu System and winning one silver medal for Maldives. His primary objective is to bring together and nuture a new generation of youth and climb further heights in the world of Jujitsu.
